Today the Lady in the Lighthouse has its first birthday!
What a year it’s been too!
I would like to take a moment to say thank you to all my readers and people who have supported me over the last year. I have been overwhelmed with the support and love that you’ve given to me and my work. Thank you for passing it on to people who may be interested in the blog and sharing my posts.
As of today, I’ve published 112 blog posts! Each week I’ve published two blog posts and when you are always thinking about it like that, you don’t notice how fast the numbers add up and the sheer quantity of work in the collection.
However, a few things will be changing over the next few months of blogging as I go through a major change in my personal circumstances and I plan to take some time off from the online world and recharge my creative batteries (a very much needed and long overdue break)!
I’ve got heaps of ideas for new content and types of posts, and how I schedule my posts. I’ve got plans for photography and social media bouncing around my head. So many ideas that I would love a bit of extra time to invest in them and hopefully I will be able to manage to do it in the next year of blogging.
Next week I will be writing about all the things I’ve learnt about blogging in my first year so make sure you check in next week to read it!
Thank you, my Readers. I’ll keep the light on.
Things I Learnt In My First Year of Blogging
There have been a few things that I predicted, a few surprises along the way and a whole lot of learning.
How I Set Up & Maintain My Blog Around My Condition
Determining what is possible for me to do and learning to work with medical challenges and not against them.
Sharing Your Story With The Right People At The Right Time
Knowing who and when to share your story with takes skill and awareness, and can be incredibly supportive and rewarding.
Congrats on the blogiversary! And 112 posts in a year? That’s awesome. I can’t even handle my weekly posts. Keep on keeping on!
